About Us
History
Our parents Garry and Ellen Horton had a vision of the future for their family and for themselves.
In 1962 Garry and Ellen began their business by propagating rhododendrons for Prentice nursery.
Rolling forward to 2017 we lost our father February 16th, 2017 at 2 pm. Although this was a tremendous loss for us as a family and for the Nursery one of his wishes was to keep the nursery progressing forward and taking care of our mother and the business they have spent 55 years building along with their marriage!
So in 2018 and remembering our Dad and what he and my mother have created we have decided to expand our selection of plant material.
Each year we have tried to expand our selection of trees and shrubs to what it is today!! A selection of plants that is second to no one!
We strive to have the upmost quality plant material and my mother works very hard to provide you with superior quality baskets that only she can do!
